Hello, my name is Gurjot Hundal and I am the founder of Through The Lens. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always had a passion for films and filmmaking. The moment I picked up my dads old super 8 camera at home, I began on my own journey of telling stories which has followed me to this day. Especially, telling stories through visual expression. From silent films to music videos, the art of cinematography has always captivated me, and has shown me so many different perspectives within story telling.
By creating this site, i hope to connect with others who also share the same passion, and create a community where people can express their thoughts freely whilst exploring stunning visuals from all of their favorite movies.
This is just the start for Through the Lens. I will continue to expand aspects of this website in hopes of one day attracting a larger audience.

Throughout my years of education, I have constantly been obsessed with cinema and cinematography. It’s one of the things in life I am quite passionate about. I have worked on projects in the past such as prototyping my own streaming app called Kuroverse, written papers on some of my favorite filmmakers such as Christopher Nolan, and Park Chan-Wook. I look forward to continuing my journey through life and school by combining two of the things i love the most, design and Movies.
